TOKYO (AFX) - The authorities here confirmed at the weekend the 26th case of mad cow disease in the country. A 68-month-old Holstein cow from a farm in the northern prefecture of Hokkaido was confirmed by the agriculture ministry to be infected with bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE).
