Canadian authorities said Wednesday they had confirmed the country's 10th case of mad cow disease since 2003. In the latest case, the disease was discovered in a dairy cow in the western province of British Columbia.

A tenth case of mad cow disease in Canada has been confirmed by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Formally known as bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), the agency released a statement Wednesday saying the case was discovered in a mature dairy cow from British Columbia.
