Galen Niehues, 41, was indicted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office on Nov. 24 on charges that he faked mad cow disease reports . According to the indictment, Niehues submitted travel expenses and investigation reports on 92 cattle suspected of having mad cow disease but never actually performed the inspections .
